Furballs' Fables is a humorous childrens' book, whose characters include Furballs, the pyjama bag cat and his fellow pre-loved toys, such as Piggles (an unwanted piggy-bank who keeps losing his coin stopper); Prescilla, the diamond python and Murrie and Morrie, nervy and giggly twin African Meerkats, just to name a few.
Other characters include some 'real' animals and some humans.
Each semi-sequential chapter revolves around the adventures, mishaps, reunions, relationships and personalities of all of the characters.
In the beginning, the toys are discovered at a garage sale in an old wooden box, which up until then, had been relegated to a dusty attic and forgotten about.
Now that the toys have a chance at a sort of 'freedom', they become eager and nervous as to what their new home will be like.
