Realist Art in Oz: Little Poss

This little 'fella' is one of my 'quick' pencil sketches. These pieces don't take long to do, which can be a welcome change to some of the other, bigger and much more time consuming pieces, especially the pointilism pieces shown below.

Welcome to Realist Art in Oz. Pastel, inkpen and pencil drawings of varying subjects are displayed here, as examples of the types of art work I enjoy producing.
The detail of my art work is not completely clear as you look at these pictures.
Each picture contains very fine detail, such as, in the pastels the strokes of the pastel lines can be as fine as a hair. The pieces done in the style of pointilism contain minute inkpen dots and no drawn lines.
I mainly use Faber-Castell products to create my work. They are very easy to use and are of excellent quality.
With my work, I am somewhat of a perfectionist, which is not always a good thing, as those of you who are like me, will understand. We can create frustrations for ourselves in trying to get it 'too' right, though the end result is always rewarding.
